To be successful we need your skills and personal commitment, effective leadership, and a value-based performance culture.
We establish and grow a partnership between our company and the individual based on clear expectations and mutual commitment on how we behave, deliver and develop.
Solar STAR - Investing in people
Through Solar STAR we aim to match the aspirations of our employees with the needs of our company. The Employee Performance Appraisal (EPA) process enables us to put this policy into practice. Structured EPA discussions are held yearly. During these discussions, objectives are set for a defined period.
These objectives form a clear link between Solar’s business strategy and the daily work of each employee. Competences and results are evaluated annually and a personalised development plan is agreed upon. Long-term professional goals are also part of the EPA discussions.

The development and renewal of our employees’ skills and competences is critical in order for Solar to continue its growth. Our employees are encouraged to participate in a variety of educational experiences throughout the year to enhance not only their own work potential but also that of their team.
Solar Navigator – our compass
In Solar we believe that satisfied employees are not enough. We want our employees to be engaged in their company and what they do. Therefore, every eighteen months, we carry out a Solar Navigator survey. Solar Navigator is our employee survey, which gives us valuable information on customer orientation, employee engagement and satisfaction, leadership performance, strategy and value comprehension. The survey helps us set the right targets and keep continuous focus on communication and development activities. All our departments are involved in the Solar Navigator survey, and each department follows up with local action plans.
