Otovo and Solar have entered a strategic partnership on sourcing and sales of solar panels in Norway.
Norway’s leading supplier of solar panels in the business-to-consumer market, Otovo, has entered a strategic partnership with Solar Norge A/S. The agreement covers sourcing, inventory and logistic services for solar panels and roof tiles, inverters and mounting hardware.
”The market for solar power in Norway is evolving rapidly at the moment, and we are proud to add Solar to our team in an effort to professionalise further. Solar is an international group with significant skills and insights in customer value, which will contribute to simplify and improve our solutions for those looking to produce solar power,” says CEO in Otovo, Andreas Thorsheim.
Solar will provide the logistics solutions for the many installer companies cooperating with Otovo. Additionally, Solar will supply solar panels and roof tiles for Otovo’s customers in the B2B market.
”In Denmark, Solar has been active in the solar business for several years. We believe we will see market growth, and we want to achieve a strong position in Norway. Otovo is the leading supplier in the B2C market and is to us a natural partner in growing in this business area,” says Jan Willy Fjellvær, Senior Vice President in Solar Norge A/S.
”Together, we will increase growth in the market in general as well as strengthening our individual market positions,” adds Andreas Thorsheim.
