Our target is to become Net-Zero in our own operations by 2030 and to reduce our CO2e by 25% across the value chain. That is our commitment to Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). But we also have several other targets that will push us to become a better company.
Some of these targets we have already achieved, such as having 2,000 people complete a course within sustainability at our Solar Schools. We have also managed to install EV chargers at all our main locations.
We commit to reducing absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from base year 2020 and to reach Net-Zero by 2030.
We also commit to reducing scope 3 GHG emissions from Purchased Goods and Services and Use of Sold Products by 25% by 2030 from base year 2020.
We support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in general and support SDGs 7, 12, 13 and 15 in particular as we believe that this is where we, by acting responsibly, can make a difference.
In our Sustainability Report we document how our activities support the selected goals.
Focusing on sustainability is a big part of our strategy. It infuses how we think and how we act.
For years, we have been operating with an ESG mindset, which is why our sustainability framework ‘Green together’ is built around the three areas Environmental, Social and Governance. For each area, we have a commitment that guides how we address the 10 categories in the outer circle of our framework.
Environment: We empower the green transition
Social: We care with respect
Governance: We lead with transparency
Green Together is embedded in our Core+ strategy and has been deployed in our daily operations.
